The recent New York and Washington state court decisions failing to strike down unconstitutional laws banning same-sex couples from marrying serve as a wake up call to our community. Though we have made tremendous strides, we are by no means at the finish line yet. Unfortunately, we can't rely solely on the courts to wave their fairy gavels and bestow justice – we need to get out there and win this fight in heart-to-heart combat.
