Fresno native and Project Runway star Matthew Fashion was arrested early Saturday morning in the parking lot at DejaVu.

Fresno Police said officers were sent to the club, at 708 North Blackstone Avenue, around 1:30 a.m. after a taxi cab driver called the department. Lt. Dennis Montejano said Fashion had refused to pay the fare and the cab driver then called police.

Montejano said the cabbie declined to press charges. However, according to Montejano "officers realized Fashion was very drunk" and arrested him for public intoxication.

"Our officers also cited him for a misdemeanor warrant out of Los Angeles County," Montejano added. "While he was at the jail, he got near a telephone, and he pulled the wiring out of it." Montejano said Fashion was then arrested for vandalism.

Matthew was recently on Lifetime's "Without Prejudice" (online repeat available here, click episode 5)
