The World AIDS Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 1^st , from 5:30PM to 8:00PM at the historic Tower Theater located at 815 E Olive Avenue in the Tower District. This annual event is free of charge and will include viewing of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, guest speakers, and live local entertainment. Please see the attached poster for more information.

The House of Representatives on Wednesday passed the ENDA, The Employment Non-Discrimination Act. This groundbreaking legislation, which would provide protection from discrimination in employment for gays and lesbians, now must move through the Senate and head to President’s desk, where it’s possible it could be vetoed by ol’ GW, depending on recent changes made.
