On Sunday February 26th Central California Alliance hosted a House Party fundraiser for Equality California. The event was attended by about fifty supporters of LGBT equality.
There was a screening of the film “Tying the Knot” a touching film on the struggle for marriage equality. Comedian and activist Robin Tyler was a guest speaker. The House Party was a fun and informative way for members of the LGBT community and supporters to get information on what is happening with marriage equality in the state of California and how they can get involved locally. It was a resounding success with over 55 supporters in attendance. "CCA raised almost $2000 for Equality California's efforts in the Central Valley" said Molly McKay.
