Written by Peter Robertson
Monday, 17 July 2006
Jared Lindo
A sophomore beginning his second year at Fresno State, Jared Lindo is the first recipient of the Bulldog Pride Scholarship Fund. A civil engineering major, he’s also the third brother from his Modesto-
based family to attend Fresno State.

"I dearly appreciate the kindness of the Bulldog Pride Scholarship Fund," says Jared. "I promise to work hard with my studies to make you proud!"

The first Bulldog Pride Scholar plans to graduate in May of 2009 and envisions on pursuing a Master of Science degree in engineering, as well.
Additionally, Jared will be publicly recognized at the Fresno State Alumni Association's "Top Dog Alumni Awards Gala," which will be held at the Save Mart Center on October 13, 2006.

Give today. For tomorrow and beyond.

About the Bulldog Pride Scholarship Fund at Fresno State

Founded in the spring of 2005, the Bulldog Pride Scholarship Fund is an endowment dedicated to providing an annuity to support students at Fresno State. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

The interest (earnings) of this account are used to fund student scholarships, while the principal will continue to earn interest in perpetuity for the funding of future scholarships.

The scholarship criteria is that a Fresno State student(s) with “good academic standing” that “has demonstrated pride in the community” will be selected as the recipient(s) of the BPF.

A donation made today will give in some capacity, tomorrow and forever.

Give today. For tomorrow and beyond.
