A good analysis of the issue. I am glad the California Supreme Court sees that banning gay marriage does infringe on one's civil rights. The 45 states that have passed resolutions to avoid this issue in the future will be challenged. This issue will not go away. I was very disappointed by my state of VA in allowing the right wing fanatics to take away civil rights for VA's gay people. Thomas Jefferson would be shocked by how religion has infiltrated our government. Could our problems today in Washington be directly related? One can only wonder! Thanks again California for helping the U.S.A. move forward!!
