LeVar Burton Joins NoH8

LeVar_BurtonActor-director LeVar Burton has joined the NOH8 Campaign, which raises awareness and funds for gay rights causes, including ending California’s 2008 voter-approved gay marriage ban, Proposition 8.

 

Burton first came to prominence playing Kunta Kinte in the ABC miniseries Roots. He is best known for his portrayal of Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
